Firesign’s design work for the launch of the Gunn Slater law firm was honored again, this time in the annual Hermes Creative Awards, one of the oldest and largest creative competitions in the world. Firesign won the Gold Award for Best Professional Service Website and received honorable mention for Best Logo. Previously, Firesign won Gold for Best Website/Law & Legal Services and Silver for Best Logo Design, an overall category, in the NYX Awards.
Founded by Amy Gunn and Erica Slater, both accomplished trial attorneys, Gunn Slater is a women-owned law firm focused on providing legal representation for individuals harmed by reckless healthcare providers, truck drivers, or product manufacturers. Before launching their firm, Amy and Erica hired Firesign to create a logo and website that reflects Gunn Slater’s identity as a fierce and trustworthy advocate for those harmed by negligence, while maintaining a fresh and sophisticated appearance that stands apart from typical personal injury law firms and several competitor firms in their market.
The Hermes Gold Award marks the eighth time Firesign’s work has been honored among the nation’s best law firm websites. Firesign has won Lawyerist’s Best Law Firm Websites award for two years running, took home two Gold awards and one Platinum honor from the dotCOMM Awards, a Gold NYX Award, and received recognition in the Communicator Awards.
The 2025 Hermes Creative Awards were judged individually by members of the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, which consist of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, digital media production, and freelance professionals.
